Admissions

» School Visit

You are always welcome to visit the school and have an informal discussion with or without your child. This can be done with a prior appointment with the Administrator, whose contact details are given in the contact us link. A meeting can also be arranged with the Principal or any other faculty member that you may wish to see.

» Admission policy

• Sarvanaman Vidya Mandir admits qualified girl applicants of any race, religion or national origin, the admission being subject to the availability of seats.
• While applying, the parents should understand that the decision regarding the admission will be finalized by the admission committee.
• Minimum age of the student as on 31st May for class 1 is 6+ years and correspondingly for other classes. (Exceptions to this policy may be decided at the discretion of the admission committee.)

» Admission procedure

• The Application Form and prospectus can be obtained from the school office.
• Submit the duly completed application form along with the documents as mentioned below to the school office. Alternatively the application for admission may be mailed to the school office in info@sarvanaman.org.
• Upon receipt of the completed application form, an entrance test for your child will be scheduled.
• Admission will be granted if the child is found suitable for admission and medically fit to be a resident student.
• The admission of the child will be approved once the formalities are complied with.

» Documents to be submitted

• Report card of the last two years.
• 2 passport size color photographs. (Recent photographs, taken within the past three months).
• Medical form duly filled in by a registered medical practitioner.
• Copy of birth certificate (in original) for admission to class 1 and the Transfer Certificate / School Leaving Certificate (in original) for class 2 and above.
• Copy of Passport (in case of foreign nationals)
• Foreign nationals will have to submit necessary clearance from government authorities.

» Interviews/Admission Test

The interviewing committee conducts its tests to gain knowledge about the child's educational ability to cope with the curriculum, use of language, social skills, academic enthusiasm and extra-curricular interests.

» Overseas Applicants

Overseas Applicants should follow the same procedure as detailed above. If the student is unable to attend the entrance test, the test can be sent to the student's existing school provided the school agrees to conduct the test. Alternatively a provisional admission can be made with an understanding that the admission test shall be conducted upon the arrival of the student in school. In case the child is not found to be academically fit or physically fit the admission may stand cancelled.

The school admissions committee reserves full authority for decision regarding admission and no arguments of any kind will be entertained throughout the process of admission or later.
