An elocution competition in the English language was organised in the evening session on November 16, 2009. In all, 20 participants presented their ideas on various topics like ‘an hour at the sea shore’, ‘how to spend holidays’, ‘my favourite author’, ‘if I were the chief minister of Gujarat’, ‘importance of discipline’, ‘child labour’, ‘the impact of cinema’, ‘utility of exams’, ‘place of women in free India’, ‘democracy in India’, ‘peace and harmony’, ‘evils of terrorism’, ‘global warming’ and ‘saving the girl child’.
