The birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the first home minister and deputy prime minister of India, was celebrated on November 4, 2009; with respect and dignity during the morning assembly sessions organised by the school’s senior and junior wings. The school’s programme was scheduled on 4.11.09, though the actual birth anniversary falls on 31.10.09.
On this occasion while students spoke at length about the Sardar’s contribution towards freedom, unity and integrity of the country; charts displaying the life story and work of Patel were also put up on the soft boards.
