Yoga has been accepted worldwide as it strengthens physical and mental health. An Inter House Yoga competition was held in the school with an aim to promote yoga as a healthy way of life. On the evening of July 10, 2018, the students of class I to XII displayed great energy and enthusiasm in performing the ‘asans’ in yoga competition, which were held in several age categories.
The students were very excited to perform different ‘Asana’ like Tadasan, Padamasan, Pranayam, Bhujangasan, Chakraasan, Bakasan etc. The two Judges – Miss Janki Bhoya and Mr. Kuldeep Yadav congratulated the winners of the competition and motivated all the students to do yoga from the very tender age to avoid illness and to be fit forever. It was further stressed that yoga should be used as a tool for transformation; doing yoga for just fifteen minutes a day can transform their life for good.
